*  The time has come for Heights Community Congress (HCC) to accept  nominations for the Bernice & Lacy Lott Outstanding Citizen of the year Award, the Community Vision Award and the Robert J. Goble Civic Award. 

All nomination forms are to be received in the office of HCC by Friday, November 14, 2008. 

Award Ceremony: Awards will be presented at HCC’s 36th Annual  Meeting, November 23, 2008 at  Beaumont School; 3301 North Park Blvd. Cleveland Heights, 44118. 

The Bernice & Lacy Lott Award: The purpose is to honor a person who is committed and dedicated in their work in the community and whose work exemplifies the views and ideologies of the Lotts as well as supports the mission of HCC.

The Community Vision Award: The purpose is to recognize a current project or program by an individual or group that has successfully enhanced community life and is related to HCC’s goals of living in a positive and productive integrated community.

The Robert J. Goble  Civic Award: The purpose is to honor a person outside of the Cleveland Heights-University Heights area who has, because of his/her generosity and dedication to the purpose objective and aspirations of HCC, positively affected the organization and the community which it serves.
