Building Community

Heights Community Congress works to help build community by providing opportunity for all people to better identify that tends to keep people apart, and understand what helps bring us together.

HCC diversity programs consist of activities, training and programs that help to instill a sense of community association and involvement among people of all races, religions, cultures, ages, ethnic heritage and socio-economic levels.

Facilitating discussion and discovery with neighborhood and community organizations, churches, schools and other citizen groups is of foremost importance in fulfilling the mission of HCC. In addition, we collaborate with other community organizations with similar purpose to create programs specifically tailored to fit community needs.

In our own community of Cleveland Heights, HCC presents the Heights Heritage Home and Garden Tour, and the International Festival – events that provide opportunity for residents to learn, explore and work together to promote and celebrate the unique character of Cleveland Heights.

HCC Multicultural
Task Force

HCC’s Multicultural Task Force consists of dedicated members of the community, who are committed to increasing understanding, appreciating and valuing the contributions of all citizens.  The committee consists of area residents.  All are welcome!

If you are interested in participating on a committee that helps to identify and address social issues and opportunities relevant to our communities, please call the Heights Community Congress at (216) 321-6775 for more details about this group.  The Task Force meets the second Tuesday of each month
